We came across the Mill Street Grill by accident on a trip back from Virginia. The food is great, and was well worth the wait to get a table.

Excellent food. Good selection of wines/beer. Great atmosphere.

Portions are fairly large.

We had our rehearsal dinner there and the service was great!

My wife and I moved to Staunton a few years ago and ever since the Mill St. has been our favorite restaurant! The food and service are always excellent, even when crowded. Live jazz on Wednesday is always a good time to go. May get busy, but worth the wait. They have nightly specials and it's always hard to decide on getting a special or one of their mainstay dishes. The steaks, seafood and ribs are excellent.
