Yamato was better by the previous owner. Yamato's of Norton never has been the best Japanese around but was decent with the previous owner not really recommended now.

Well, this is a REALLY small town, so it is awesome for Japanese food here, but if you really want good Japanese don't go there, cause it's not one of those places. Good none the less.

I have moved away from Norton now and sometimes I still travel well over an hour just to eat here. The owner is really nice and often well come to you personally after seeing you there a few times to see how the food is. The food is better than any other Japanese restaurant I've ever been to. Well worth the trip and the money!

The food is ok. We eat here when we are too lazy to go to Tri-Cities to eat real Japanese food.
