  • Too Noisy!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/02/07
The food at Maggie Moore's Irish Pub and Restaurant is delicious! However, our reservation was for 6:00 and we got our food (after ordering promptly) at 6:55! The kitchen cannot handle the volume of theater-goers (ourselves included). And I cannot stand the noise level (after my fourth attempt to enjoy a meal here). It is too bad, since it is so conveniently located across from the Hippodrome.

Maggie Moore's is an excellent addition to the Westside of downtown. The place is amazing inside and has an upscale, yet welcoming design. The food is very tasty and the service/bartender are polite. My only complaint would be that some items on the menu seem a little overpriced.

The manager that night was delightful, but our waiter was the worst I have ever experienced. R-U-D-E.
