I live in Baltimore and though Koopers is a popular local hang out for young people, we've have really good simple food and service and then horrible service and mediocre food. It's hard to take friends there because we never know what we're going to get. I've also been there on several occassions when the owner was drunk, Not a good image.

Visited Fells Point from Indianapolis last week end and this place did not dissapoint when it came to friendliness and food. The hostess was most helpful and very nice as were the waitresses. If you want great seafood this is the place. The crab cakes and otsters on the half shell were the best I have ever had. Go to Koopers and I will promise you that you will not regret it.
