Mesa Verde rocks but it is a loooong way from Colorado Springs. If you are visiting the Springs you won't see it even in a day trip. It would take an overnight.

Great experience. Never will tire of Mesa Verde. Great camping in the park. A must for anyone interested in history and natural beauty. If all works out, I will be there this summer.

Mesa verde is about six hours southwest of springs its located near the four corners next to the town of cortez. get your facts straight before you post them.
First of all this place is nowhere near Colorado Springs!!!! But a very mystical awesome experience between Durango and Cortez, a good days drive from the springs.
