    In the small town of El Jem in Al Mahdiya in Tunisia.It's located in eastern Tunisia between the resort town of Sousse and Sfax.     In the small town of El Jem in Tunisia. The Amphiteatre is the 3rd biggest amphitheatre in the world after Rome's Collosseum. It is 148 meters long by 122 meters wide, with ters up to 35 meters. In summer time this place is famous for the International Classic Music Festival. This place was shot the famous film "Gladiator".
