This is where several known movies were made and famose actors commonly visit.

A scenic tropical setting with many beautiful views including the Pitons, banana plantations and the amazing rainforest.
Didn't particularly like the vendors pressing you fro your money.

I took a trip here in 2004, and had a wonderful time. The people there are a joy to be around, and the downtown area is very charming. We were told that Soufriere was slated to be totally changed soon to accomidate a large corporate resort. This will be very bad because a lot of history and culture would be lost. Be sure to avoid the Sandles or other big all inclusive resorts because you miss all the local fare, and they are super cheesy.

Everything about this island was wonderful. I mean just look at the picture of the pitons. Then image how it would be just being there. I mean it was great. It is just as beautiful in person.
