San G is a quaint Italian Village with cobblestone streets. The many towers are interesting and were built by competing families to one up each other by building a higher tower. This town is also the home of Pinocchio. There are many cute little shops that sell handmade pottery more affordable than Rome or Florence.
I loved this little town and consider it one of the highlights of my Italian vacation. This was a nice day trip from Sienna.
