great experiencethe ruinas were beatuiful. we hired a tour guide for about $30. for the day and he explained everything.learning the history and how they made the ruinas was amazing. we spent the whole day at copan ruinas. the town of copan was beatuiful. pleny of shopping and good food, i recommed staying at the la case de cafe. the rooms were clean and they ...1 of 1 Yahoo! Life is GoodThat place was soo pretty and the maya site of copan was amazing but the atmosspher was fair I wouln't make this a yearly family trip but it's a good visitation vacation spot you will love it.or not either way it goes make the best of it.0 of 1 Yahoo! El Copan 2000I was there in the summer of 2000, as a R and R trip for the Marine Corps, i was working in Nicaragua so i took a group trip of 3 days to El Copan to relax in between building schools and clinics.
