for those who like to walk and enjoy to see the community there, i think this is one of the best. around the area, there are so many masjids and the location of the masjid from one to another is quite near. for an architecture student, it is the best place to see the fine work and the intricacy of the people there. the people there are friendly. i love everything about islamic cairo..subhanallah
