We had a dinner for two at the Seafood Cellar in early April. We tried the degustation menu which was absolutely outstanding. It was original, tasty, well presented and the service was incredibly friendly and attentive. They even agreed to replace one scoop or ice cream which came with desert and was not really for our taeste (bubblegum - maybe a ...
I have been to many fusion restaurants in London and around the world, and the Seafood Cellar was simply a traumatising evening out, and indeed the worst dining experience in my life. Judging by the looks of the resturant, the food on the menu and the previous dining experiences in Reykjavik (unvariably excellent), my partner and I expected to have ...
Easily the most overrated restaurant in Reykjavik. The service and overall feel of the place to say the least was cold, boring, and entirely not worth the price. My advice is to go around the corner to the tapas restaurant and skip this place altogether.
besides being a car payment, this was a must meal. my husband thought this was the best meal he ever ate, so besides the price, the presentation and taste was amazing. a muat do.

A 'must go' in Iceland
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/21/08
Visiting Iceland for our honeymoon, we ate here on the last night. Yes, it is expensive but the wine was excellent and the food a delight. The wait staff run through each dish with you as it arrives and appetizers are provided between courses. The sorbet with accompanying dry ice show proved a fitting end. I would recommend this to anyone, but make sure you book ahead!

Great atmosphere even if it is in a cellar. Great food, too Asian for me but still inovative and extremely well prepared. Best wine list in Iceland

Never experienced a mix of food that was so surprising, tasteful, excellent... Even the croutons you get as an appetizer. One of my best memories of Reykjavik!
This was recommended to us by the Concierge at the Radisson SAS 1919 and boy are we glad we went. We had an awesome meal, the "tasting menu" for two. We highly recommend this restaurant.
