First, Hop Kiln is an amazing historic structure and worth the trip. Second, beyond the lovely wines, they have a great assortment of other foods and condiments including a fig vinegar that is fabulous! We enjoyed a wonderful assortment of meat, cheeses and bread in their picnic area. We visited 10 wineries of all types on our trip and this was one of our favorites.
Hop Kiln was beautiful, had the friendliest staff, and our the best wine. Try Big Red and the zin, the prices were great also. Unfortunately this was the 1st vineyard we went to so we were expecting the others to be as great. We would have purchased much more of their wine if we had known how the others compared.
