I visited the Royal BC Museum twenty years ago, and again in July 2007. It is one of the best interactive natural history museums that I have ever visited. Whether you want to know about the history of the area, the first nation people, or the geological history, this world-class museum has it all---just be sure to allow yourself enough time to do ...

Looking forward to Returning

My wife and I had a wonderful time both times we visited this city. Once for a day trip from Seattle (catamaran); and once for the entire weekend. We will return for a full week prior to this year's end. The museum is one of the best we have ever visited. For a small place, it has an extreme amount of anthropolical standpoint. The personnel were helpful and most of all, friendly. Definitely recommend visiting if you come to Victoria.
Always a pleasure to go the Royal BC Museum. It had been nearly 10 years since I had visited last, and I was pleasantly surprised to see quality maintained. We visited the Titanic Exhibit. I do wish there was more "re-built rooms." But overall a good experience. If you are coming to BC, you must check out the heritage that this great nation has to offer. A definite must!

Best museum I have visited.

Been there twice, and so much to see. So unique. This is a museum for kids, and adults, lots of exhibits you won't see anywhere else.
Museum takes a hole day if you see movies also. Great IMax with different movies playing every couple hours. Close to Empress and Parliment. Best overall Muesum I've been too.
