I went to the Croaker Spot, It was on point. DOn't let the out side fool you. That Place was GREAT!!!! The Food was to die for and the home down feeling is worth the trip. I was there for a team meet with my daughter and we walked over there. the Visitor center told us about it. I can't wait till I get a free weekend to go down there for another plate. THIS PLACE IS UNBELIVEABLE!!! I live in the Va. Beach area(1 1/2 ) away. The trip and wait when u arrive is well worth it. Ive grown up in the restaurant business with my family. This food is just well prepared and good food. When U arrive hang your diet and carb count at the door and just enjoy.

This is the local favorite, it's black owned and has the best seafood in Richmond Virginia area. Still family run, the Eggleston family.

The fried fish dinner is the classic here. Meaty fish, but you may want to have them put the sauce on the side. It's a good sauce, but some may dislike it. The cornbread and potatos are fantastic.

This Spot on the corner is off the hook, the fish plates are great and the cornbread taste like cake, jus don't use the deepheat on the table its too hot
