Guess it depends on when your there there. I was surprised by the less-than-good reviews I read here. My wife and I are from the San Francisco area and no strangers to good food. We were passing through and saw a small ad in a local magazine. My wife had seafood and I had the Prime Rib. Both were above average. The service was great (thanks, Cindy). Wish we lived closer. If we did, we would be back.

Best restaurant in the area. Yes it is a little on the expensive side, but the food is consistently good, of great quality, and the service is exceptional. I left the area 4 years ago and haven't found an equal to the Log Cabin since I left. Miss it greatly, but will be in town soon and once again enjoy the dining at my all time favorite restaurant.
