This is the best Italian place I ate at. I read previous reviews and find it difficult to comprehend that people think the prices are to high. I feel that the prices are good for the portion of food you get. You start your meal with bread and a salad. The main course no matter what you order is large. I really cant rate this place but I can complain. I went her on Valentines day this year and wish that they would have told me that they have limited menues on certain days. I understand that they were busy but people should not have to choose between 1 vegatarian meal, four veal meals and 1 chicken meal. The food was not good at all and my entire party had a horrible time..

The food and service is superb. The bread and salad that accompany entrees are consistently fresh and flavorful. Portion size is good, prices are affordable, and the atmosphere is comforting. Great Italian restaurant in Old Town!

Very unimpressed with the food. I could have cooked it myself and probably had better results. I am not saying it was awful, just I really expected more.

Il Porto is another of those wonderfully small restaurants that dot King Street, providing wonderful atmosphere, great service, and great food with a minimum of space.

The wait staff was prompt, friendly, and knowledgable.

The food was well-prepared, reasonably priced (For King Street), and well-proportioned.

The restaurant itself was quiet enough to foster conversation, clean, and well-decorated.
