This hotel although it reeked with age it was very disatisfying it was a confusing and aesthetically unappealing mixture of motel and hotel .The hotel had some charm but the motel is illplaced and might just as well have been built along the new jersey turnpike.This hotel motel lacks characteristic Maine charm and taste.

Not really a dislike, but the hotel does not accept credit cards. It was not a problem for us, since there was an ATM not too far down the road. But if you are on the road and drop in for a stay, it would be good to know this.
