We stayed at Aloha Junction and thoroughly enjoyed the planation-style charm of this special place in Hawaii, one mile away from Volcano National Park. At 4000 ft elevation, nights can get cool, but the rooms have new nifty fireplaces that have bedside remote controls to keep the room warm. Our blankets also had thick down covers. Robert makes the best pancakes and local coffee.

My wife and I have stayed in numerous B&Bs, and find Aloha Junction ranks right up there with the best in terms of value and amenities. Great local for Volcano Town

The town of Volcano is at elevation & gets very cold at night (40's when we were there)-pack accordingly! The room would have been comfortable had we turned on the heaters before heading down to see the lava at night.
