Great place to take kids. Pizza and subs are good and prices are good too. The guys that work here are always so nice. :) I really like the onion rings.

Oddly enough the pizza here is substandard.

Everything else is AMAZING though. Great pastas and cheese steaks along with easy to find parking and a good price.

Check this place out...but don't expect too much from the pizza.

I have gone there for years for their pizza and subs. This past week, I splurged and got the Chicken Chesapeake. Oh man...I need to go back and get that every week. Absolutely the best I have had. I love the place...

Buontempo is the greatest. I have been searching for great Lasagna since Roma's closed in Essex (about 8 years ago). I finally found it at Buontempo. Their pizza is also top notch (I gotta order with extra cheese though). The "boardwalk fries" are to die for.

Owned by the same guys who run The Tower. Cheap, half-decent place to grab some pizza or pasta. Monday evenings - all kinds of pasta dishes (including salad and bread/butter) for $4.99. Gets crazy after any local high school event. Beer and wine available but the wine is expensive for the portion you get. Stick with the pizza and pasta...

I've been searching for pizza like this for a long time. If you're an old school pizza lover - pizza that doesn't defy gravity - you'll love this pizza.

  • Mr Pizza Face's super intense evaluation #76
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/02/07
I'm only going to be reviewing the pizza since that is all I had.

I was quite excited at first to see these guys had real pizza ovens and not conveyor belts.

From looking at the pre-made pizza's for slices I was not impressed with the look of the dough. very pale with small areas of light browning. Almost like a saltine cracker. ...

My family has been going to Tempo Brothers (Yea I know I left off the the Buon part, but seriously, it's not necessary) ever since I can remember. Tuesday night has always been busy for us, so we regularly have my dad pick up pizza from there on Tuesday night. The Tuesday special is buy one large pizza with any toppings and get a second ...

  • Must have been an off day

I have just tried them once! Very disappointed. They had the wrong toppings, they were not apologetic, the made another pizza -- somehow it was done in less than 5 minutes, was curiously not hot (barely warm) and certainly did not taste fresh made. Oh by the way, the toppings were very sparse. Based upon what I have read here, it must have been their off day. Either way, my ranking would be No Bueno!
