I'm new to the area. I have tried a few Mexican/Central American restaurants in the area. I loved this place. I had the beef taco combo. It was fresh and the service was great! I'll be back.

Read the review. Great place to eat. Food was fresh and very good. Staff friendly and great. Hard to find though if you dont know the area very well. Tucked it a corner, but well worth the find. Grew up with my Mom being spanish and the Az broaders of Mexico. Brought back memories of my childhood. will go again.

The homemade chips and salsa as a starter gave us an idea of what to expect - yum. We had chile rellas which were very good, taquitos, with shredded beef which was (as mentioned in another review) perfectly seasoned, and chicken and cheese quesadillas. Everything was delicious. The service was impecable. I would only wish that it was closer to my home in Carroll County.

This is a real winner! I love how they use perfectly spiced shredded beef instead of ground beef like all the rest of the restaurants in this area. Eating here is a real treat. Nothing fancy - just really good food.

el charro restaurant has GREAT food if not the best!

Sweetest couple run the place and we haven't had a bad experience in the several years we've been eating there. The steak picata is perfect for a cool day and the beef fajita salad is one of my favorite summer meals. Full bar, endless chips, roomy and CHEAP!

I can't believe they aren't always filled to capacity. The food is inexpensive but wonderful...Especially the Camerones Fonseca!
