You can always tell how good the food will be by the chips and salsa serviced. The chips were warm and fresh, as was the salsa that had a nice kick. We order a side of fresh guacamole which rocked and split the "El Agave" signature dishs which was plenty for two. This restaurant is a wonderful find in Warrenton reminds me of San Jose del Cabo, MX.
With limited selection of restaurants in Warrenton outside of chains - El Agave offers wonderful authentic mexican cuisine. You will have to wait to be seated during peak hours but they've expanded their space and can fit a lot of people. Food is great, affordable and salsa is homemade and so good!
The food here is mediocre at best. You'll find more flavor in a meal at Taco Bell. You'd probably get better service too. My burrito was filled with tasteless rooom temperature beans and barely enough cheese to taste. The only item that earned this place more than one star was the fresh salsa.

Food is worth waiting for. Service can be slow at times, but definitely worth the wait.
