After ordering the medallions of beaf, and waiting for quite a while for it to show up it was warm. I did not know that until I cut a piece of one of the medallions. The service at Blackhawk Grille is spotty at best. We know that going in. It's kind of a running joke with my wife and I. Why do we go? It's close to home and every so often, the stars align and the food is perfect. Not so on Valentines Day! Wow. The food was poor at best and we were virtually ignored by our servers. That's it for us. It is very expensive for the quality of food and service.

We went to Blackhawk Grille for our anniversary and it was delicious! They had custom menus which said "Happy anniversary " on the top and all the waiters kept congratulating us. The food was delicious (esp. the Fried Calamari) and the drinks were great. We sat in the dining room that is all window which look out onto the water fountain/pond of the plaza. Great place to eat, socialize and we can't wait to go back!
