I'm Gushing Over Nola
By mario, 06/15/06
I've never been to New Orleans, so I'm not even going to start comparing Nola to the New Orleans experience. Theme restaurants are so overrated. Nola, on the otherhand, is another story. The ambience, the vibe, and the overall setting is so unique, and not to mention fun, that this place is a must visit. Cajun food is genuinely spicy, but ...

liked: the decor. very awesome. stepping into the dining area is like stepping into new orleans. plus the drinks were pretty good (try the mango mojito!)
disliked: the crowded-ness! too many people! i had to stand on one side a doorway while my friends stood on the other. i was ran into several times by drunk people. we left the place after about 15 minutes of awkwardness.

Great place

Nola's is a more casual, festive alternative to CreoLa in San Carlos for Cajun food. The food is not as good, but it is still very good. Nolas has a great drink menu, and can seat large groups. Highly recommended.
Amazing how they were able to create such an awesome ambiance in what could have been an alley???

A Fun Menu
By G, 09/04/05
While small and tucked away, Nola's offers a good time, good food, and some great drinks. The menu is somewhat small, but almost everything on it is appetizing. An amazing order of fries, complete with sweet potato accompanying regular potatos. The drinks are a good bargain, especially considering the size and quality. They have some ...
