When I first moved to DC in 1979 the first place I was invited to eat was Mama Ayesha's. She was still there, overseeing everything from her table near the kitchen. What a woman! And I've watched all the artistic improvements. It's my very favorite place to bring out of towners. Everyone raves about the food, service and the ambience. It is absolutely top notch. MJ Owen
