One of my favourite. The food is good, atmosphere is great and you can't go wrong with the service. AAA+

The food was very good. The people were very friendly. Considering the crowd and pressure the staff was facing to seat many many people, I would say they handeled with great dignity and style. I would recommend everyone to try it. A very good mexican food place.

The best Mexican food in DC. And I'm from California aka Mexico 2.0 so I would know. This is a popular spot so get there early.

The setting of Lauriol Plaza is very nice, but as far as the quality of food, it is okay. Maybe, because I am a native Texan I realize that the food served here was not authentic or maybe just needed improvement. But on the flip side, I didn't have to wait for seating and they were quite full, nor did I have to wait long for my plate. They moved swiftly.

The air at Lauriol Plaza is filled with excitement and the place is usually packed. The staff is nice but can be abrasive at times. The drinks are decent and could stand a bit more professional effort put into them to help this restaurant become one of the better locations in D.C. The food is barely average and needs much improvement. I for example ...

It's unfortunate that this restaurant is seen as such a shining star in Washington DC, when it really is only average. The food is unimaginative and mediocre. The service ranges from below average to fine. It is a nice place to go and meet friends, or take out of town visitors. The atmosphere is nice, and I can only assume that is what the ...

Located in upper Dupond Circle area, Lauriol Plaza is house in a huge loft style building with lots of windows and a rooftop that permits seating all year round. LP is always hopping, specially on the weekends were it is literally filled to capacity. Often times the wait times are beyond one hour, but it is a wait that is worth the patience. LP ...

Food is usually excellent but service can be lackluster at times. I've been going to LP for so many years but I find service to be hit or miss (one was so rude I almost stopped going). Overall, excellent fajitas, atmosphere and margaritas to die for!

The quality of there food is 5 stars and for the DC area, just about as good as the rest of the top quality Mexican places. However, they miss out on much of the cuisine from central Mexico, including Mexico City, Veracruz and even Oaxaca. Other than that, very good.
