Likes- First two nights we had the entire campground to ourselves. Very friendly owners. Nice to have a real bathroom and shower. Definitely close to nearby attractions- like Michigan Adventure, Lake Michigan, and many shopping/restaurant opportunities. Campground has a nice little lake next to it, and right across the road is a bigger lake with a ...

The staff is very friendly (when you can find them) but seem to be disorganized. After driving around the campground searching for a particular site we decided to go back and ask for help. They just pointed at the poorly designed map instead of showing us where to go. The side "trails" are poorly marked as to where you can drive to ...

THIS CAMPGROUND IS THE BEST BECAUSE IT IS RIGHT ON THE LAKE AND THERE ARE SO MANY TREES AROUND. THE STAFF ARE NICER THAN ANY PLACE WE HAVE EVER BEEN AND THE RESTROOMS ARE THE CLEANEST OF ANY CAMPGROUND WE HAVE BEEN TO. =)

This was a great campground. It's a pretty big place but there are alot of private areas so we didn't feel crowded in the site we selected. There was a nice playground for the kids and petting zoo, they loved all the animals. The staff was friendly, very casual and informal. Lots of trails for hiking, nice little boats for taking out on ...
The Ranger, Ron is a Great Guy!!! There Two Dogs Mercedes, and Mocha that are very well behaved, lovable, and fun. The Bison They Have there are in such Great condition. The Owners are very kind and wise people. For $5 you get a heaping recycling bin full of wood we spent $10 and had a nice hot fire for the whole night, and then some. We will ...
My husband and myself brought our three children and families to this campground the end of June 2007, for a belated "Christmas Present"/ This is going to be an annual event. We had a great time. The kids loved the animals, and we caught quite a few fish in the pond, then took the boat over to Wolf Lake (across the street) for some ...

Very relaxing and quiet
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/17/07
I don't know what a few are complaining about, I guess they are used to the uptight closely crowded state campgrounds. We love getting away from the city and crowds and come here to enjoy the laid back atmostphere. The owners are always pleasant and accomodating. They go out of their way for us every time we have been there. And last year, we ...
I was shocked to find the below reviews about the Wolf Lake Campground in Muskegon Michigan. I did some research online using yahoo and saw that there is a place called Wolfs Eagle Lodge resort & Campground which for some reason has there pictures under the campground in Muskegon which is false advertisement if you ask me. I go to the ...
