The staff are pretty nice other than the guy with the ponytail. Cars speed around the playground and nothing is done about it and theres not alot to do for older kids. They need stuff for teens other than the pool, which by the way closes pretty early on those hot summer nights.
Pool is great- has a nice pirates cove, tastefully decorated. Grounds are good-

I loved the place so much that I decided to stay. I have the freedom to pack up and go when I want but also the ablity to just go for the weekend without the hassle. The fish fry on Friday and the all you can eat on Saturday is well worth the price. It's my home away from home.

I've been back 3 times to Holiday Acres. The staff is friendly and helpful. The campgrounds are clean. There are fun activities. Never a boring moment.

Perfect get away for the family with lots to do for the kids. Can't wait to go back.

We love it here! Very family orientated, lots of things to do! Anything from candy bar bingo, swimming in the HEATED POOL, ice cream cones in the handy store and the pirate hunt for the kids! Holidays are special too! The Halloween Hay Ride is a BLAST!

Park is really family oriented- hayrides, crafts, and hide and seek for the kids. The inground heated pool, Kishwaukee River Fishing, and playgrounds add to the fun. The restaurant and bar are on site for the adults. Staff helpful and friendly. We raft down the river when we are there.
