Setting was nice, but the cabins are run down and dirty; the toliet was constantly plugged up and there were ants in the rooms. The beds were REALLY hard and uncomfortable. Will not stay there again.

This was our first visit to Fort Niangua Resort and we found the place was wonderful. The staff was very friendly, and the cabin was just as discribed. I hope to return again soon.

The staff was rude, cabins were dirty and run down (ours had a family of bats that came out from behind the paneling after dark!) even the cheap price we paid was way too much. The showers had no shower heads, and the water that did come out felt like needles stabbing your skin! The bbq pits had no grates and the bugs were huge and always present. ...

Made the mistake of renting kayaks from Fort Niangua when the outfitter I normally used was overbooked.

I was surprised by how blatantly rude the people behind the counter were to us. Also, the kayaks we rented both leaked. Other people we spoke to on the ride back said they had the same experience.

We've been camping there every summer for ten years. The owners must have not long ago spent a small fortune updating the water & sewage systems. Because it all looks great to us!

The place is ship shape & ready for a great summer in my opinion! We've made reservations for several weekends already including the Niangua Riverfestival they're have scheduled in August.

I was just there April 12th for a few days. Everything looks great. i used the public showers everyday & saw no mold nor blah, blah, blah. Must be redone since last review. I love this place. I've been there many times over the years & take many friends everytime I go back.

Great place & Great Staff. I've been going there for over 30 years. So did my Father for many decades. So will my children & Grand children.

There's not a better place to party UPSTREAM that Fort Niangua!

I wasn't expecting top be treated like royalty as it clearly sayes, 'Primitive Camping" available. But we sure had a great time!
