  • Great Time and Great Place to Camp
    By luvthai, 11/06/09
    I can't speak of anything I didn't like because I liked all of it. As a camper I expect there to bumps and glitches and what I'm referring to here is, the not so level spot, the neighbor with kids and the barking dog. Fortunately for us we did not have to contend with any of that. However, I expect that when I go camping. Camping is ...

    Fantastic park! Easy access, great location, friendly staff. The sites are huge and level. Concrete pads, all pull throughs. Great cable and internet. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

  • Best Near Williamsburg, VA
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/14/08
    If "dusty" is the worst anyone can say about this place how bad can it really be?

    We felt the sites were nice (level, paved pads, and pull-thru!). The entire RV park was clean, pool was small - but well maintained. It was nice that there was a dog friendly area as well as a large field to walk through with the dogs. We were here for ...

  • Dusty! Dusty!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/05/07
    We visited in July 2005 the roads were very dusty. Hopefully they have paved the roads now. The campground is very close to Williamsburg attractions. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

  • WOW- great campground
    By sandy, 10/17/07
    Despite a long drought, AHRV park is a great place to stay. While there, I had a severe rheumatoid arthritis attack that required a trip to the emergency room. I was told to stay off my foot for at least 2 more days. We did not have our site reserved as the plan was to go on to Chincoteague. The office gals were so helpful & understanding. ...

  • Nice economy park
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/27/07
    The park was clean and the staff were very helpful. We stayed there and went to sight see everyday, so we did not depend on the camp for our entertainment.

  • I was disappointed with this park!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/04/07
    the dusty roads were terrible;
    the site was a mess - dusty and shabby;
    some of the employees were not very nice/helpful;
    the sites in the rear looked like a war zone after any rainfall;
