This is one of the nicest, cleanest campgrounds around. We had the opportunity to rent a beautiful spot (creekside) for the week-end. Everyone was nice and friendly, the staff was great. For the amenitites offered, you can't beat it (paved roads throughout, concerete pads at all the sites, swimming pool, horseshoes, swings, covered picnic ...

The cabins are sheds with a 3/8th inch blue foam pad on top of a wooden platform bed.Two small roll out windows and a fan.Not what we thought would be a nice retreat as they are really suited for storage equiptment. Please read all the reviews and believe me, you don't want to stay in the cabins. Rip Off!!!!. The campground itself didn't look too bad,but I repeat the cabins are plain, poorly ventilated storage sheds.

If you had wanted a cabin - like the one shown in the picture - You should have requested it. They have two like it. I think someone has one of them rented for the season but the 1st one as you come into the campground is usually open. Now I don't know how many it sleeps and that I'm sure might make a difference. The other three cabins ...

This is our 4th year at Daniel Boone and we love every minute. Personally, I'm glad they have Rules. I can't imagine what sort of place it would be if they didn't. We think Richard and Kathy and their staff are great and they do a great job running the campground. I certainly wouldn't want the headache of putting up with all the ...

The bath houses are always disgusting. The price is absurd, and for permanent camper the entire $1,500 has to be paid by November 1st. So affordable NOT! I would not recommend to people I know because for 6 months of camping the price of $1500 which does not include the power bill, which includes a $10 fee for someone to walk and read the meter) ...
I have been to DBFC since I was a child. All of a sudden with the new management, there are new "rules" which excludes my grandmother from allowing different guests aka grandchildren to stay overnight. She had to choose 4 guests to be on a permanent list for "overnighters." The rest of her grandchildren may certainly come ...
As with most campers the people were wonderful. The facility left much to be desired based on the web page description. The bath house's were filthy and not supplied with toilet paper. The fishing at the pond was accomplished by casting over a chain link fence. The tent camping sites were nestled between RV sites adding to the picturesque ...
Operated for campers with all the luxuries at afforable prices. The location of the mountains, a scenic river, the closeness to nature and hardworking, caring owners who strive to please all of their customers.
