clean, cheap, friendly helpfull staff, pool was down, would recommend to business associates and family rooms need new furnishings but staff more than makes up for it
was a top rate motel for the price wish we could find a place like this when we travel all the time. fit our budget and our needs

If you want to smell like coconuts go stay in Hawaii. It's a cheap place to stay what do you expect. It doesn't have the best up keep but it's a warn dry place to sleep with a shower and T.V. what more can you expect for $50.00 a night. And it's a small town for goodness sake.

When you have to rest there are only two places in Oroville. I've stayed at the Camaray a couple times when "shopping" for land in the area. The place was run down, the pool dirty. The rooms had dirty looking, stained carpets. The only reason I returned to this place more than once is because the other hotel, just a few blocks north and on the east side of the road has an abundance of rattle snakes.

This is the perfect example of what happens to a 1960's motel that never gets any upkeep. The surviving furniture, towels, and linens looks ancient. Couches, seats and tables were replaced with cheap lawn furniture.
