  • Great Place For a Rest Stop
    Arrived with no reservation and The Whispering Pines was the last available place in town and personally, I really enjoyed my stay. We had a 3-room cabin with full beds in 2-rooms and a twin in the 3rd room for $88 a night. No air conditioner, but open the windows and the cool mountain air more than takes care of that problem.   • We were Lucky!

    It was the last reasonable priced place to stay in town. I was really concerned because of no air conditioning, but I always travel with a small fan. So we opened the windows and turned on the fan (only three plug-ins in the cabin). When we returned from exploring the town that night the cabin was comfortable. The bath room was very small, but ...

  • Best Kept Secret

    This place was amazing. It was pet friendly. Not enough can be said about staying in these warm fully accomodating cabins up here. This will always be the place I pick. They were extremely reasonably price. We payed 45 per night during the Memorial Day Weekend. You can't beat that.
