Nice place for a weekend, not a romantic hot spot.Not sure what the last reviewer's problem was. This is a Lincoln Avenue motel - what were you expecting?? Did you try to have a romantic night out here? Wow. This is not a Hilton or Hyatt. TRANSIENT DUMP!!!!I liked NOTHING. This place was a piece of dung. Should have turned back upon entering the rinky dink motel office. The room smelled like mildew and like it was closed up for months with no type of air circulation whatsoever. Acceptably AverageAs I don't care to spend $100 and up for a hotel, I often opt for one of the Lincoln Ave Motels on the northeast side of Chicago.
The Tip Top is one of the better choices for these low budget, no frills motels on Lincoln Ave.

but the room were clean & warm
i bit prob was busses but cab was available all the time
