it was horrible. i stayed for one night and upon opening the door i was shocked at the tiny shower and room. there was a bed with 2 white bedsheets and a cheap blanket *(like the ones no airplanes). it wascold, the view outside the window was of a nasty roof top. there was a roach and bug in the bed. NEVER GO HERE. unless you're like a teenager running away from home because they dont even ID you and its cash only.

Stayed there on a university trip to NYC. Excellent location to travel the entire city. Great value, clean well kept, 24hr deli next door. Subway stations close.
It is a must stay for the money.

We decided to book our New Year's stay here both because of and in spite of reviews we had read....and the fact that they did not jack up their prices 2-3x (or more) for New Year's Eve. We stayed for four nights and paid $110 a night, all taxes and surcharges included (with a $50 surcharge for New Year's Eve only.)

this place was very old & dirty, as soon as we turned on the TV in the hotel room a porn channel was on. Old heater was making noises all nite & bathroom was very dirty.
