My wife and I stayed at the Colony with our two boys, August - 2009. This motel is close to the beach and ideal location to the boardwalk, downtown and restaurants. The Colony Motel was the best place ever. the owners treated us like family! my friends and i went down for prom weekend and had a great time. Sunny and Ron, the owners, couldn't have been any nicer. they cooked us a barbecue, let us use some of their personal belongings, and were just very friendly. the rooms were nice and clean. we had a great weekend. they made us feel welcome. i will always go back to the Colony motel.

I stayed for Prom weekend, normally the busy, loud and troubling causing time in seaside, Sonny kept everything under control and mad sure there was no trouble. The service could not have been nicer and the motel is only a block from the boardwalk.

Sunny is the greatest woman in Seaside and by far the best motel owner in the galaxy. The Colony is a wonderful institution with clean rooms, great rates, good management, great hospitality, and a sweet location. It's one minute from the boardwalk and the beach, right across from CVS, but the most important thing is that you can always find Sunny there. Sunny is the greatest woman alive.

Sonny is so polite and kind she was always asking if we needed anything.I went with my husband and 2 kids and my bff and her dughter while her husband was in germany. the kids loved it., it was a short walk to the beach. thekids would have been happy hanging at the pool all day. cvs was across the street,i was hppy abut that.
