Yeah, the Lurae was nice, but the best I have ever been to was the Bel-Aire Motel at 12th and Surf, remember that? It was one tenth the size of the Lurae, but it was family owned and operated. My family and I had stayed at the Lurae many times, years ago, but we haven't been back in about 5 years. I am extremely sorry to hear that the Lurae is gone. I always hoped that someday we would go back there again.

I wish that the Lurae would have been sold to new owners, who might have given the guests the same quality and value.

I liked almost everything about this place. Expecially the pool, the arcade, & the friendly people. I love how they have entertainment, like christmas in July, it's so much fun. It is a great place for everyone, wether its family or friends.

i loved the lurae motel i just don`t understand y they sold it and putting up more condos there are enough condos in north wildwood . i loved the lurae and will never forget it . the owner tore down my families hopes of going to north wildwood.that was our favorite hotel and now it is gone the owner lost alot of fun and money because the hotel was doing great.i am really upset with the owner`s stupid decision

the lurae was the best and my children loved it there
but since it was destroyed we had to go to a new one
the owner crushed our dreams and a part of our life.

I loved the LuRae, everthing was amazing and the people are sooo nice! The party is great and everyone has a great time, I'll miss it so much, but will never forget the memories!

I went to the Lurae Motel every summer since I was born, until I bought a summer place in WWC. I heard stories that the Lurae would be torn down in 2006. I wanted to see it one more time before it was torn down, so I went there in July & it was totally leveled thanks to greedy developers. I can only hope those developers went bankrupt!!

i loved the lurae motel, my daughter cried one day when we went down to check it out and it was for sale.
we had to go to another hotel i loved it but my son and daughter hated it.how could people find another hotel.are other hotel was bigger but wasnt the same at all.

WE HAVE BEEN TO THE LURAE MANY TIMES. WONDERFUL PLACE TO VACATION. WE DID NOT KNOW IT WAS BEING DEMOLISHED. WE ARE SO UPSET FOR WE HAVE MANY GOOD MEMORIES FOR MANY YEARS. THANK YOU TO MANAGEMENT AND STAFF FOR SOME REALLY GOOD TIMES!
