Super friendly owners and staff! So, so helpful with recommendations, directions, etc. Very clearn rooms...with none of those "hotel smells" - no smoking, no mildew!!! Great location - across the street from the beach. Convenient to everything. Highly recommended!

We've been staying here for 10 years and it is absolutely the best hotel in Cape May. The location is ideal-beachfront with a phenomenal view right across from the boardwalk and on the same cross street as the Mall! The rooms are also all smoke free and every balcony has an ocean view. My only regret is that they close for the winter :-(

I've stayed at Avondale for the past fifteen years in the month of October. The owners are friendly and accommodating. The suites are comfortable and clean. I moved to Florida and can't wait to go back to Jersey to enjoy 'going down the shore' every fall.
