A perfect spot to use as your home base for a trip to the wine country. The room was large with all the amenities expected of a lodge in this area. The saloon and restaurant next door were perfect complements to a great trip and provided a nice respite after touring the valley or Jack London Park up the hill.

Won't go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/19/07
Glen Ellen is lovely but don't stay at this mini-service lodge. Summer when rates sky rocket to almost $200 a night for what is really a budget motel. Imagine paying that much for a place that does not supply basic amenities like shampoo and shower caps? The worse is the office help. Office doesn't open until 8:30 and anything you ask for takes an hour to get. Air conditioning is old and from what I read in another review, filthy.

Excellent service, kind people and clean, comfortable room. We will be back for sure! We loved the little community, and the hot tub was wonderful. Thank you!
