I loved the early 1900's feel of this place you can clearly see that it is a historic place to behold.The basment area was a bit drab and cold as I walked around to find a bathroom but I was warmly greeted by hotel staff and was givin info on future restoration projects this place feels homy and has a old NY feel to it.I saw no Gold plates or ...
Apparently the previous reviewer hasn't been in the hotel for a while. It's been completely renovated, beautiful lobby, halls, rooms, great new restaurant. Good place to stay.

OVERALL
Historic but shabby, with a Silent Hill aura

When you approach the outside of the hotel you wouldn't guess that it was the second oldest hotel in Kentucky. Even as the tallest building in the area, its not at all impressive.
