The room was OK and so was the price, but the best part was getting up early and waking along the Pacific shore. You can easily walk to Monterey Aqurium, which was also wonderful.
We've stayed at the Lovers Point Inn many times over the last 5 years. The best features are the beatiful surroundings and charming rooms It's a great place for a romantic getaway or weekend trip with the kids. Additionally, it's a great value. I don't think you'll find a better deal in the area. It's our favorite place in the Monterey Bay Area.
Cute room. Nice view. The bed however was one of the worst beds I have slept on in my life. It felt like a solid wood plank on VERY LOUD RUSTY springs. You could not breathe too hard or SQUUUEEEEAKKK! We knew people in another room and they seemed to have a similar bed! 2 nights of LITTLE TO NO SLEEP made the weekend getaway turn into the sick and tired week after!
Well when we got there some of our rooms were not ready, I thought at those prices we would have a least a nicer room. the garage was a joke maybe a small little put put could get through there. The elevator was slower than molasses, the smell in some of the rooms was awful
My husband and I visited Monterey in January, and stumbled upon a huge pink building across from Lovers Point in Pacific Grove. We ended up staying on their 3rd floor for three nights, and considering we paid under $100 per night and had a great view, we couldn't beat it. There was another motel in front of the Inn, but their ocean view rooms ...
