Great place just like Riverstone LodgeThe owners of Riverstone Lodge purchased this location in 2008 and have added special touch to everything. Even the large deck with firepit for their fabulous nightly campfire. If your looking for a low rate and a nice place then you don't have to look any further.OVERALL

"STOP" Definitely "Stay"I had so much fun on our vacation that I just have to share it with everyone. Scenic Motel was so much fun. Just to think we almost passed this place up, but we went back and got a room. We are so glad we did. Sitting at the firepit getting to know others. We all made Smores! The Worst Experience EverWe went to Townsend to check out a chapel there and stayed the night at the Scenic Motel and my God it was horrid. The room hadn't been cleaned in months and their was bugs in the bed. The walls were paper then and it had no real ammenities. This motel was well below my expectations1 of 1 Yahoo! Keep on goingOur room was part of a wedding package with Heartland Wedding Chapel, and my bride to be was crying as we checked in. The "honeymoon suite" was a drab room with cinderblock walls with bugs smashed on it. The lady running the place came out in curlers and a housecoat. The owner was out front washing his car.
