we had a very bad experience the night before in another town on our route to magnolia for the festval . after finding this suite we were sceptical do to the night before but as we reached the front desk we were greeted with much warmth and kindness . the owner even personally walked us to our room before excepting payment to ensure our ...
I was viewing a reviews written in earlier years. Looks like those guests must have had a bad day or something. My recent visit to this Motel was fantastic! Once you are inside the room, you feel like inside of any franchise room. Everything is new, clean and spotless. We had good greetings, service was superb. We felt right at home or better. If we are in the area again, we will visit this plece again and again. I recommad you do the same!
We have had a very comfortable stay at this Inn recently. Everything in the room looks brand new. If you have had a bad experience in the past for whatever reason, I am sure you would easily change your views about this Inn if you visit them now. This will be my Inn if I visit here in the future.
Magnolia Inn & Suites is a "best kept secret" of Magnolia! We did not know about this place, until our relatives recommanded it to us. I am so greatful! I totally disagree with the previous writer. It's a best small town motel we have had chance to stay at! From it's location to exterior, interior and amenities, everything was ...
We stayed 16 days at the inn after Hurricane Ike and were most pleased--it was a sanctuary after chaos. The owners could not have been more considerate and friendly--going out of their way to accomodate us, the staff was competant, and the room was comfortable and clean. Indeed, the cleaning staff came everyday, and ample bath linens were provided. I would definitely recommend the inn.

If you enjoy the stench of curry and feces that lingers in your room after the staff "cleans" your room. Don't leave anything in the in-room refridgerator, they ruined 40 dollars worth of food when they forgot to plug it back in after vacuming. Just a filthy hotel! Has a nice third world charm though!
Also don't write a bad ...

I liked the fact that they were family owned and the wife and daughters were extremely nice. But we stayed for 7 days and they never cleaned the pool. We had 2 adults and 2 kids in our room and they only would give us 2 towels after we constantly went down to the desk to tell them we needed more. And they would give us 1 roll of toliet paper at a time. I would not recommend!
The room was dirty, the carpet should have been changed years ago, the inside of the entrance door was fifthy, the mattress had springs at the top no padding. I paid for 2 nights and stayed one. The noise up stairs was terrible. I don't recommend this place for any normal person.
