My boyfriend and I stayed here for a Gator game and we were appalled at the quality of the room! I have traveled through Europe and have stayed in better hostels than this place. I like how they keep the rooms and area clean but other than that bugs and roaches from outside will creep in your room if you leave the door or patio door open due to the fact that the place is surrounded by trees where these little insect happen to live and waiting to come sleep inside with you. But it's worth the money you pay just don't invite the critters inside

I was in town for a organization week, we were kick out of a so called five star hotel at 5 a.m. (Paramont) and Rush Lake welcomed us with open arms. This is by far the cheapest in town. About 35-50% cheaper than the surronding hotel/motels. However, the room we stayed- I saw a roach, I had to ask the front desk for extra toilet tissue, and change the sheets. Overall, the staff was very nice and professional, but the cleanliness is questionable.

You can't beat the price anywhere in town it's old but fairly clean very nice staff also very good location for v.a. hospital, within walking distance
