    Our first impression of this hostel was not too bad. However, the semi-private rooms are really nothing special, there are only the bed and a totally broken chest of drawers, nothing else. I can confirm the cockroaches reported by another reviewer and the room was dirty when we arrived, during our stay (since nobody bothered to clean), and after. ...

    The only thing this cockroach infested dive has going for it is their location. Other than that, there is not one thing I can say positive about this place.     This was my second experience staying at a hostel, and it totally blew me away. The front desk staff are amazingly helpful and really go out of their way to make sure that everyone has a great time. they have awesome tours that you can book for really cheap.   • Nice Place, Great Stay

    This hostel is set up nice and has a great staff that was more then helpful. The room was kept clean and looked like it had just been remodeled because it had a new fridge and stove. Great location, right by the beach. It got a little noisy but overall I had a wonderful time at Waikiki Beachside. The also had a great internet cafe with lots of computers.
