El Sarape has excellent food and excellent margaritas (try the mango-yum) BUT it is small and they are not shy about asking you to clear out when you're done eating (even though we were still drinking)....which in my opinion is just about the rudest service one can have.

El Sarape has become one of my favorite non-city restaurants. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but the food is always excellent, and I've never had any problems with the service. The place is rather small for a large get-together, but the intimate setting is really what gives this restaurant a wonderful warm feeling. Plus the bar is always right near your table... :) Btw, try the rasberry margarita- you won't regret it!!

The food is amazing. Best Mexican food I have had since I moved to PA. The service is also excellent. Always friendly and polite and margarita ready at all times.
In my experience, El Sarape is the best choice for Mexican in the Blue Bell area. The restaurant is a tad on the small side, but this makes for a feeling of intimacy -- it doesn't feel cramped.
