Do not stay hereIt's a complete rip off. They charge CRAZY amounts for what you get. If you want new towels everyday, and your room cleaned up.. You won't get it. They charge twice what the hotels locally would cost you and you'll still be close to the Virginia lakes basin. They charge for EVERYTHING. Will not go back.Owners, john and carol, don't care about mice running all over the place at night -keep the children at home- ; they are now charging a $15.00 fee for using the lake; if you want privacy forget it, they spy on you and will follow you to big Virgnia Lake to see what your doing; and still have no bear proof containers. We will not go back!Likes- The lakes and mountain views are the best- 10. Fishing at the lake is easy and enjoyable. The bears do visit the lake during the day to take your fish, be ready to grab your fish and leave.

It's about the outdoors.This is a great place. You have to realize these are fairly simple cabins with heat, water and electricity. The view and surroundings are what it's all about. I for one, wouldn't want the owner knocking on my door to see if they could help in any way. With most cabins, the owners give you the keys and a map and say, "See you in a ...4 of 7 Yahoo! PeacefulThis place is wonderful. This was the 5th time we have stayed there. We stayed in the large cabin with our whole family for 2 weeks. Fishing is great. Will go back again. MICE IN UNITSMice in units. Owner/operators didn't care. They handed out mice traps and we were on our own to exterminate them. We spent a week there. Owners never came by to see if they could help with the problem. Totally apathetic.
