My family and I visit a lot , we even had our Family Reunion here at it was wonderful. It has a family setting, secure, clean, great food, a variety of music and it was just great. We got such great reviews that we are having our annual family fish fry there as well. It is a true secret get away. Now that our family have found it we visit on a regular basis.You don't have to travel all the way to Galveston.

this is the perfect place for adults with families.
kids love it and parents have a place to rest and not worry about the tide, or jelli fish.
if you want to bar b que just bring your charcoal and food because they provide the bar b que pits.
it's a fun family atmosphere, and the best thing of all, not everyone knows about this place.

A fantastic place to spend a day with the family. The "beach" does get a little crowded sometimes and we did not enjoy the church services and mass Babtism. Other than that we always have a great time and the price is right!

16 of us came on a Sunday with kids and all. We were having best of time till a loud (speakers, karaoke etc.) Church service started. I have nothing against the church, but when I go to the beach I’d like to relax ($5.00 a head should have gotten us some privacy). Our young kids were putrefied when the priest started baptizing people right there in front of us. We will NOT be back.

I LOVED IT SO MUCH WILL BE BACK NEXT WEEK END THE BEACH SUPER CLEAN AND GOOD MUSIC. IT CHEEP AND A FAMILY PLACE TO HAVE PARTYS

well my family and i loved it and will be returning very soon. Of course there is boats and loud music,hello,its a river not a pool! LOVE the fresh water its so much better then the salt in Galveston Bay. If you cant enjoy this place then maybe you should save money and take your family to a private island there you will receive peace and quite.

I enjoyed it very much. I like the security always coming by to check up on things. The beach itself is very clean and so are the port a cans. No JELLY FISH or broken bottles either.

It's a great place to relax & swim, But they charge boaters to beach-up, since most boaters will spend money for ice & drinks, I don't think they should be charged.
