What a nice surprise this place was! My partner and I only had the chance to stay one night, but we're definitely going back for a longer visit. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was outstanding. We were even gifted with some delicious home-grown tomatoes upon our departure. The grounds were lovely and the house was quaint and private.

Very dirty

Though the house was full of character, the owners need a lesson in housekeeping. The bedrooms were dusty and common areas even worse! A large, long-haired dog lives on the premises. This may have something to do with the dirt. The grounds, though obviously grand at one time, have been allowed to grow wild. Staying in nearby Gettysburg is probably a better idea.
