Paul and Marianne are superb hosts, nice to be with, and enjoyable company. The B&B is next door to the VT Historical Society, an all-day destination for my wife and I. TheB&B is homey and comfortable. As such, we are returning for another stay.

Our favorite Vermont B&B
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/09/05
We had a great room and wonderful breakfasts. The hosts were most entertaining and Max, the dog, was a dear! Although it rained almost every day we found lots of things to do in Vermont and enjoyed the good dining in the area. Try the NECI restaurants in Montpelier and Barre and the Shed in Stowe. The cemetary in Barre is also very interesting and worth the trip and the admission price (it's free!)

A great place to stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/21/05
Our second ever B&B in the US and once again it didn't disappoint. A lovely old house with loads of character, comfortable and clean rooms, great food and friendly hosts. We particularly enjoyed the breakfasts and Paul and Marianne's willingness to sit and chat with their guests. If you are looking a place to stay in Barre then look no further.
