It always good to get back to Romano's. Fortunately for me, traveling in and out of PHL provides the frequent opportunities. The core food is great, the "newer" Italian dishes like Veal Scallopine are superb.

I am lucky to have family that has been taking me to Romanos for over 20 years. The square pies are delicious because of the homemade sauce that is made daily. I truely enjoy picking up an italian hoagie from Romanos on the way to an Eagles Game or Citizens Bank Park, because they make it with real proscuitto, when other places are using regular boiled ham. Try the orginal pepperoni stromboli or cheesesteak! Happy Eating!

Boatyardchick you don't know what you are talking about. Romano's still has great food! I absolutely love their square tomato pies and homemade original stromboli's. You can't get those items anywhere else I know. The best is to get their homemade marinara sauce on the side to dip your stromboli in! In the words of Rachel Ray ...
